Last month a friend of mine, Dawn, suggested that we start exchanging cards on a monthly basis. The card would have different rules each month. For the month of June the rules were that the card had to have an item from the cricut cartridge, "A Child's Year." It also had to have stamping on it and it had to be embossed somewhere on the card. I absolutely love the card that Dawn sent me. She is truly gifted at cardmaking. This is the card that I sent Dawn.

A book for Josiah! My nephew, Josiah, asked me to make him one of my books for his birthday. He's a 15 year old boy so I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to "create" much of a book for someone his age. I was wrong. There are tons of products on the market to paper & embellish a book in a teenage boy fashion. On this book I used the boy line from simple stories. The book itself is a simple story product. The book is plain cardboard so you can paper it in any style you choose. I also used a lot of Tim Holtz products throughout the book. Following are just a few samples & pages of the book.

I've been gone but now I'm back

This is a mini-album that I created for one of my nieces, Keshia. The pictures inside of this album are of her when she was younger. I can't believe she's 22 now. How time flies!!!
The paper that I used for this book was a line from My Mind's Eye. Oh how I love this line. The colors, the sparkle and the phrases on the paper, oh my. Between each page in the mini-album, I placed a page of acetate so the pictures wouldn't rub together and get ruined. I didn't post all of the pages but enough to share just a little.
